Fred Jones Enterprises, L.L.C (FJE) requires that all cores be returned in original shipping container freight pre-paid or picked up by a FJE truck. Certain restrictions apply to the ability of FJE to retrieve cores. When returning the old engine core for a refund/credit of the core deposit, the following procedures should be followed:
|
 |
- Verify the “block casting number”. This identifies the core as a match to the engine that was sold (Also, verify the head and/or crank casting numbers).
- All fluids have been drained from the core.
- The core is not missing any parts, i.e. crankshaft, cylinder head(s), camshaft, lifters, connecting rods, main caps and timing/oil pump cover.
- Attach core return tag completely filled out with your store name, phone number, address, etc.
